We build
the engine your
business runs on

Systems for a more resilient tomorrow

Web, mobile, data and AI — and the architecture underneath that decides whether any of it still works in year three.

01
Position 02

An engine, not a paint job.

Three things we hold to, whatever the size of the system.

01 Under failure

An app is what users see. An engine is what drives revenue.

We build the machinery behind it: the logic that takes the order, the data that holds the money, the delivery that keeps the doors open at three in the morning. It’s unglamorous, it’s where the value is, and it runs while you sleep.

THE ENGINE HTTP REQUEST COMMAND DOMAIN MODEL EVENT LOG DASHBOARDS SEARCH NOTIFY RESPONSE RETRYING CAUGHT UP ONE PART FAILS · THE ORDER IS STILL SAFE
An order arrives, your rules decide what happens, and it’s written down permanently. Nothing failing downstream can lose it.
02 Over time

Technical debt is a silent killer. We refuse to cut corners.

We build digital assets, not liabilities. That means shipping on a real timeline and still handing over something your team can extend in two years. Built for where you are now, architected for where you’re going — you shouldn’t have to choose between the two.

SHIPPING SPEED M0 M4 M8 M12 M16 M20 M24 MAINTAINED SHORTCUT TAKEN MONTH 24 SHIPS AS FAST AS MONTH 1
Two teams leave the same starting line. Two years later one can still change the system in a day; the other cannot.
03 Under load

Too many users? That’s a good problem to have.

Growth ought to be good news. We design for the spike before it arrives: queues that absorb it, screens that stay fast under it, infrastructure that scales on the day instead of in next quarter's rewrite. Resilience is engineered, not accidental.

TRAFFIC SPIKE QUEUE DEPTH ABSORBS IT p95 LATENCY UNCHANGED THE SPIKE ARRIVES · p95 NEVER MOVES
Traffic spikes, the queue takes the hit, and how fast the product feels to your users never changes.
Capabilities 03

What you can hire us for.

A site that has to load fast, a mobile app, an AI workflow, a decade-old system nobody wants to touch, or a platform that can’t fall over. Different problems, one engineering standard.

  1. 01

    Build

New systems, the applications on top of them, and the interfaces people actually touch.

    • Product & application development
    • Design & interface systems
    • Websites & content platforms
  2. 02

    Data & AI

Turning what you already hold into something that answers questions and does the work.

    • AI & intelligent automation
    • Data engineering & performance
    • API & integration platforms
  3. 03

    Architecture

The structure underneath: modernised, secured, and built so the business can change it.

    • Software architecture
    • Legacy modernisation
    • Platform & developer tooling
    • Security engineering
  4. 04

    Run

Keeping it fast, observable and alive long after the launch it was built for.

    • Cloud & FinOps
    • Reliability engineering
    • Support & operations
How we work 05

From the first call to the handover.

This is the sequence every engagement runs through, whatever its size, and what we commit to at each step.

  1. 01 First call

You talk, we tell you what we actually think.

Thirty to forty-five minutes with the engineers who would build it. You describe the problem; we tell you how we would approach it, what it takes, and where the hard parts are. You leave with our honest read on it.

    A straight answer, this week

  2. 02 Scope and plan

The first thing we deliver is the plan.

Phase one of every engagement is a written plan: the scope, the architecture, milestones with dates, and the decisions that shape all three. It’s yours to act on, whether we build it or someone else does.

    A plan you own

  3. 03 Build

    Working software at every milestone.

Your team gets repository access from day one and a standing call with the engineers building it. Every milestone ends in something you can open and use, so you can steer while steering is still cheap.

    Software you can use, weekly

  4. 04 Handover, then run

It runs on your accounts, under your name.

Code, documentation and infrastructure are delivered into accounts you control, with the access and knowledge your team needs to operate them. Most clients keep us on to monitor, maintain and extend it; either way, it stays yours to keep or to move.

    Your systems stay yours

Most engagements start with a single email. We reply the same day, and the first call is with the team that would do the work.

Tell us what you are building.

Send the shape of the problem. A paragraph is plenty. You get back how we’d build it, what it would take, and what the first two weeks look like. It comes the same day, from the engineers who would do the work.
